CRA warns taxpayers against mail scam

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is warning taxpayers against a recent fraudulent scheme in which some Canadians have received a letter that appears to be from the CRA. The letter, which does not come from the CRA, says that insufficient information was provided in the recipient's tax return and, in order to receive a claim, personal information must be provided by fax or email.
