CRA Announces Changes to Taxation of Employee Benefits

The Canada Revenue Agency has announced that it will be changing its administrative and assessing policies with respect to a number of employee taxable benefits, including employer gifts and tax-free meal allowances. The changes, which the CRA believes will reduce or eliminate the administrative burden imposed on employers with respect to such benefits, are outlined in the government press release (Click Here...)
