CRA Enhances Online Business Services

The Canada Revenue Agency has announced that new services have been made available to businesses through My Business Account, the CRA's online business tax service. Business owners can now use the online service to check the status of goods and service tax/harmonized sales tax returns and see when Notices of Assessment were issued.As well, beginning in November, businesses will be able to transfer payments and credits within their GST/HST and corporation income tax accounts.

The new service will allow businesses to transfer amounts not yet applied to an assessed period and view the results immediately, including updated interest amounts and account balances.More information on the services available through My Business Account can be found in the CRA press release, available on the Agency's Web site at (Click here...)
